University of Regina Night Owl 5K
NEW FOR 2017! "Eat my dusk!"
The University of Regina Night Owl 5K is the newest race event and is open to everyone at the GMS Queen City Marathon!
The University of Regina Night Owl 5K starts on the FRIDAY NIGHT OF RACE WEEKEND at 8:00 PM.
Participants MUST pick up their race packages (including race numbers/timing bibs) at the Conexus Arts Centre on FRIDAY between 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
All participants must have their race numbers/timing bibs in order to start the race.
NOTE: Unique to this event, the University of Regina Night Owl 5K starts and finishes between the Paskwaw and Wakpa Towers on the University of Regina campus, just east of the Dr. Lloyd Barber Academic Green (the large elliptical grass area). Please review the course map HERE.
Participants and spectators are encouraged to bring flash lights, wear headlamps, and wear/carry glowsticks. It'll be quite a sight at night!
Completing the University of Regina Night Owl 5K makes you eligible to achieve the Scribbly Challenge. To learn more about the Scribbly Challenge, CLICK HERE.
