One hundred percent of the proceeds donated to the Leader-Post Raise-a-Reader Campaign go to support family and children's literacy programs in Regina and southern Saskatchewan.

Illiteracy is one of society's hidden handicaps. Statistics show that a shocking 22% of adult Canadians have serious problems with reading and comprehension. The Leader-Post Raise-a-Reader Campaign is designed to address the issue head-on and raise money and awareness for child and family literacy, building stronger local communities.
